Celebrate Chinese New Year at ISLAND Arts Centre!

We are delighted to invite schools from Lisburn and Castlereagh to take part in our celebrations on Tuesday 21 January.

Did you know that this year’s Zodiac sign is the year of the Snake? The lunar calendar is associated with the movement of the moon, which usually defines traditional festivals like the Chinese New Year. We can’t wait to celebrate this year with you!

From 10am to 12pm there will be a variety of Chinese Arts and Crafts stations and a Chinese Lion Workshop and Performance. Groups will rotate between each station so that everyone gets to enjoy the festivities.
