Chinese painting is a beautiful and ancient art form. Delicate, stylised works are often figurative, and feature birds or flowers. Learn about traditional Chinese painting and how it is similar to calligraphy, where brushes are dipped in inks and applied mainly to paper or silk.

An opportunity to learn directly from three Chinese artists, Jean Jing, Wenli Zhang and Lili Li, as they demonstrate and guide you in your own practice. You will be introduced to different brushstrokes, ink laying, composition and calligraphy.

Please bring any refreshments you will require as we do not have facilities beyond vending machines on-site.
