Sam McBratney, ‘GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU!’ CHILDREN’S ARTS FESTIVAL 2021”
“Putting the social into staying local, we are looking for young people aged 4 to 13 years to join our new ideas lab where you will work together with professional artists, experiment and experience a myriad of creative opportunities and best of all, develop confidence and make new friends!
Exploring the theme of ‘Measuring the Unmeasurable’ inspired by the world famous book, ‘Guess How Much I Love You’ written by local Lisburn author Sam McBratney, activities include pottery workshops, watercolour illustration, paint me glaze me family sessions, junk art, hare themed willow sculpting and bunting, print making, dance, music, performance and craft.
Designed to be COVID19 compliant, classes are grouped into small appropriate age bands or family bubbles to enable children to work closely with our artists in safe, socially distanced spaces that are individually tailored so that no two days are the same.
