Community Arts Walkway

Current Exhibition: Moira Friendship Group

Community Arts Walkway Tuesday 10th February - Saturday 28th March 2026

Moira Friendship Group is a cross-community group and was formed in April 2002 to address social exclusion and provide a platform to promote friendship and wellbeing among the over 50’s living within the Moira area.

There are many activities offered, which include fitness, arts and crafts, talks and monthly walks plus annual trips.

The Painting for Pleasure art class is held on Tuesday mornings for all levels, aimed at absolute beginners and has been running for a year. Everybody has grown in confidence since starting the class and are keen to continue learning different techniques as demonstrated by their tutor – Paul King.

They are proud to present this art exhibition showcasing the creative and artists talents of the group members.
