The Japanese art of crocheting small, stuffed creature has become very popular. From cute animals to quirky characters, these soft sculptures are a joy to make.

This 4-week course is designed for confident crocheters. You don’t need to be an expert - just familiar with basic stitches and pattern reading. You’ll learn the techniques unique to amigurumi, such as crocheting in the round, maintaining stitch tension, shaping, stuffing, and assembly.

Working step-by-step through an original amigurumi pattern, designed by Nifty Needles, you’ll create your own crocheted creature, learning how to shape each part (body, head, limbs, ears) and bring your animal to life with facial features and optional decorative touches.
