CA MUSIC CLUB Mar ss26
Date: Wednesday 25 March
Time: 6:30pm
Tia Bow marks a new chapter for Irish artist Fionnuala Fagan-Thiébot, shifting from songwriting that retells oral histories toward deeply personal narratives. Her debut album, Blackberry Path (Autumn 2026), is a distinctive blend of acoustic instruments, atmospheric electronics, and contemporary folk storytelling-a sound Hot Press Magazine describes as one that “bridges folk, rock and electronica.”
Produced by Michael Mormecha of Tree Song Studios and recorded in collaboration with Clare Galway, the album’s singles have been featured by Chordblossom, GoldenPlec, and RTÉ’s Folk on One. On air, presenter Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh hailed her as “a unique artist, deeply in touch with the landscape around her,” while Si Arts NI described her live Sound of Belfast Festival show (November 2025) as “brave and stirring, sharp and observant.”
For this ISLAND Arts Centre performance, Bow will be joined on stage by the inimitable musician, Clare Galway.
The CA Music Club is a partnership between Island Arts Centre & SERC Music students.
The events are setup & advertised by the students as part of their Music Courses.
All support is welcome! Tickets for the night are FREE.
