Suitable for beginners and improvers, this course will cover the use of mark marking on paper, colour mixing and drawing skills. Participants will be guided through demonstrations in pastel painting so that they can create their own works.

A selection of specially chosen photography references will also help with demonstrating composition and the effects of light. Each week, a new source or theme will be studied - the painting of landscapes, animals and flowers will be included.
