SLOW STITCH ON IRISH LINEN

Take time out to simply slow down and be creative. Work with Irish linens and a variety of threads, and draw inspiration from textile ‘maps’ in Millie’s exhibition ‘Grounded, on show at ISLAND Arts Centre, to create your own works of art.

You don’t need to have any experience of sewing as we will use the most basic of stitches as we repurpose linen using cotton and linen threads. All you need is a little imagination, and the desire to mindfully create and relax.
