Common Threads is a group exhibition that features the work of 13 local and international artists where linen, whether as story, medium, or substrate, is the connecting theme across a diverse range of fine and applied art practices.

This show marks the official opening for Linen Biennale 2023: ‘Revive and Renew’.

Linen Biennale is an initiative of R-Space Gallery, and brings together international visitors from the US and Europe to celebrate the unifying story of Irish Linen; its past, present, and future.

This year, the project will feature a full programme of events that celebrate the heritage and future of linen and flax including a secondary exhibition; 'Connected Emotions'. A solo interactive exhibition by Jill Philips which runs from 28 July - 26 August in R-Space Gallery.
