Children’s Arts Festival – Arts Camp 3

Want to make your summer experimental, social and fun? Join ISLAND Arts Centre and Young at Art as we celebrate the 200th Birthday of humanitarian and art collector, Sir Richard Wallace.

Now in its 18th year, ISLAND Arts Centre’s Children’s Arts Festival is the perfect inclusive social space, for young people and their peers to connect, chat and be curious about art and the world around them. Like Sir Richard Wallace, it celebrates arts and culture as crucial to imagination, self–expression and creativity. Festival’s five day Arts Activity Camps run from Mon 23 July until Fri 10 August, from 9:30 – 4:30 pm. It is a 3 week takeover of making and doing for young people aged 5 to 16 years. Click on link below to learn more about what is included in Week 3:

Mon 6 Aug – Fri 10 Aug Arts Camp 3 Bon Anniversaire Sir Richard!

Classes are small, perfectly formed and arranged according to age. Young people can create and experience the ideas and processes behind making great art. Connect with professional artists, performers and talented young creatives, just like themselves.

Young artists will also have the unique experience to make their mark on ISLAND’s galleries by co–creating exhibitions and exhibiting their work together like professional artists. This year, ISLAND Arts Centre is once again delighted to be working with Young at Art who will deliver a diverse range of workshops in applied arts, craft and drama techniques.
