£1million Shared History Fund To Mark Centenary of Northern Ireland, Now Open

£1million Shared History Fund To Mark Centenary of Northern Ireland, Now Open

December 3, 2020

The Shared History Fund is a £1million programme, which The National Lottery Heritage Fund is distributing on behalf of the Northern Ireland Office, to organisations in the UK marking the centenary of Northern Ireland.

This fund has been created as part of the UK Government’s commitment to facilitate local and national awareness of the centenary of Northern Ireland, which also paved the way for the formation of the UK as we know it today.

The fund also reflects the commitment to mark the centenary of Northern Ireland in line with the Principles for Remembering, as set out in the New Decade New Approach agreement in January 2020.

Grants will be awarded between £3,000 and £100,000 in two categories: £3,000-£10,000 and £10,000-£100,000. Funding must be spent by 31 March 2022.

Deadline: 15 January 2021.
