Arts Grants schemes now open!

Councillor Sharon Skillen, Leisure & Community Development Chair announces the council is offering grants to individual artists, arts organisations and community groups through its Arts Service. Any funded projects must take place in the council area between 1st August 2021 and 31st March 2022.

Applications are now open online for financial support up to a maximum of £3,000 towards local projects.

Please submit your application before 12 noon on Wednesday 28th July.

Individual Artists Grants: to support amateur and professional artists across all art-forms to take part in a course/residency/development opportunity to enhance their professional development or in the delivery of their arts events, projects or activities. Click here to apply

Arts Organisations Grants: to support the formally governed amateur and professional arts sector in the delivery of arts events, projects or activities, which take place in the council area. Click here to apply

Community Groups: to support formally governed groups through the ‘Making Art in Communities’ scheme, to support the direct delivery of arts events, projects or activities, which take place in the council area. Click here to apply
