Great news for our local creative community! We have extended the deadline for three fantastic funding and residency opportunities. You now have extra time to prepare your application for the following awards, with the new deadline set for 5pm on Fri, 30 Jan 2026.
The John Hewitt International Summer School Residency Award
- What is it? A fully-funded, week-long residency for a local writer at the renowned John Hewitt International Summer School in Armagh in Jul 2026.
- What’s included? Food, accommodation, and access to an incredible line-up of international authors, speakers, and workshops..

The Tyrone Guthrie Centre Bursary
- What is it? A two-week, all-inclusive residency at the prestigious Tyrone Guthrie Centre, Annaghmakerrig, Co Monaghan, for an artist working in any art form.
- When is the project? For projects happening between 1 Apr 2026 and 31 Mar 2027.

Young Artist of the Year Award
- What is it? A financial award of up to £1,000 for young people aged 16-25 to support arts projects, residencies, approved study, or specialised equipment/materials. Open to all art forms!
