Funding schemes - deadline is 18 March

Delighted to be announcing the Council’s Community Festivals Fund, Arts Grant Schemes, Arts Bursaries and Young Artist of the Year Award, Councillor Sharon Skillen (Chair of Leisure & Community Development) said:

“As a council we embrace every opportunity to invest in our city’s cultural sector through the financial support of our local artists, arts organisations and inspirational young people who excel in their artistic endeavours. The Making Art in Communities scheme offers opportunities for local groups to deliver creative, inclusive and imaginative programmes of festivals and arts activities to ensure that arts and culture remain at the core of the council’s place making agenda. So if you have an idea that you would like to support for then please submit an application.”
