‘Here & Now’ Older People’s Arts & Wellbeing Festival

Here and Now has been running for 10 years and is fully funded by the PHA as an arts and older peoples festival across NI. In 2021, 33 projects, within a range of arts genres ran online, I have attached some of the literature which some may have seen. These have culminated in a virtual exhibition which we can share when available.

The ask of your network is that we work collaboratively to engage older people, who suffer the greatest health inequalities within your district, in this programme and that we gain a good geographical spread across NI. With this in mind if you would be willing to engage 3 or 4 groups of around 8-10 older people please get in touch with me via email. Please note that it will most likely be both an online and face-to-face delivery model moving forward and courses last up to 2 hours per week for 8-10 weeks commencing in October/November 2021. Also, all facilitation and material costs are covered from the programme. Each trust area will then have their own exhibition/display or final event in March 2022.
