ISLAND Arts’ Painting by Numbers kits for the LCCC Community!

Alderman Michael Henderson MBE, Leisure & Community Development Committee Chairman delivered some ‘Painting by Numbers’ kits, which are a brilliant way of soothing anxiety and focusing the mind to two care homes in the council area. Beechill Care Home and Cromlyn Fold both accepted these kits with thanks.

‘Painting by Numbers’ is a direct response by ISLAND Arts to the Alzheimer Society’s call-out to support people affected by dementia during lockdown and to keep them connected to their culture and their community in new and creative ways.
