Our Community Festivals Fund is now open for applications!

This grant scheme aims to assist constituted groups working within the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area to organise their own locally-based festivals.

The Community Festivals Fund is jointly funded by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council and the Department for Communities (DfC) to recognise the role that festivals can play in increasing social cohesion, economic regeneration and strengthening community relations.

Local groups and organisations can apply for a grant of between £1,000 and £3,500 to support locally based festivals across the council area. Alderman Henderson MBE, Leisure & Community Development Committee Chairman advises we want to creative a festival programme, spanning from July 2021 to March 2022.

The council is accepting applications up to 12 noon on Friday 15th June.
