The Tyrone Guthrie Centre Bursary Scheme and Young Artist of the Year 2021 now open for applications!

In addition to our Arts Grants schemes that are currently accepting applications, we are delighted to announce that our Tyrone Guthrie Centre Regional Bursary Scheme and our Young Artist of the Year Award 2021 are now also open for applications!
Here is Rachel Moore who won our Young Artist of the Year Award in 2019 with her stunning winning piece. Rachel is one of many Award Recipients over the years and put her award to fantastic use by visiting London Fashion Week at the beginning of 2020 as part of her development in the designer world.
Describing her experience, Rachel said “winning Young Artist of the Year 2019, has given me the most amazing opportunities I would have never received if I hadn’t applied. I really recommend all young artists and designers out there to apply! We need to appreciate this support given by our local council as young designers in Northern Ireland.”
We couldn’t agree more and hope this inspires other young artists in the Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council area to apply!
