World Book Day!

World Book Day!

March 5, 2020

The 5th of March is World Book Day!

ISLAND Arts Centre celebrated by inviting the wonderful Book Fairy to tell stories to our local school groups St. Alysious, St. Itas, Pond Park, Brownlee, and Forthill.

The children were encouraged to dress up as their favourite book character and tell us all about their costumes!

Thanks to Play Make Believe and Louise Conaghan for bringing us the magical book fairy who arrived decked out in full story book attire!

This opportunity was offered to schools by our Arts Education Officer to celebrate World Book Day and created many magical moments for all of us here at ISLAND Arts centre and for all the school pupils and teachers who joined us!
