This months CA Music Club has our first Special guest Cut Rubber.

Fronted by Kieron Black has been heavily involved with the Northern Irish music scene for nearly 15 years; singing, playing guitar, bass, bodhran and mandolin with acts like The Mad Dalton, Organs, The Quay String Band, as well as various ensemble and tribute acts.

In 2020 he formed his own band, Cut Rubber, a garage rock / indie / punk three piece in which Kieron is the songwriter, singer and guitarist. “Our songs are optimistic” says Kieron, “and we try and encourage humanity to do a little better. I have always enjoyed being in a three piece and Cut Rubber is a prime example of this, yes, I write the songs, but that is only a small part of it. The rest comes from my bandmates who bring their talent and their flavour to anything we do.”

Support on the night will be from ‘The Chris’ which is a Level 3 Lisburn student band.

The CA Music club is a night setup & run by Level 2 & Level 3 Music Students in S.E.R.C Lisburn. The purpose of the event is to give students a hands-on approach to setting up events & getting real world experience. We look forward to seeing you down at the Island Arts Centre for another great show.
