Our anniversary circus is in town and we need a crew!

Learn to juggle, spin poi, and master the hula hoop. When you’re ready for a change of pace, hit the potter’s studio to spin the wheel or explore digital art.

If you’re already staring at the summer calendar wondering how to balance work and play, let the team at ISLAND Arts centre help you handle the childcare juggle. Celebrating a quarter-century of creativity, the 2026 ISLAND Arts Children’s Arts Festival - ‘25 Years in the Making’ is pulling out all the stops for ages 5-14.

From Mon 27 July to Sat 15 August, we’re throwing open our doors for a total creative takeover. The venue transforms into a high-energy playground where kids take the lead.

Our artist-led team creates the perfect space for young people to find their feet, get stuck in, and really thrive. It’s all about new skills, new friends and maximum energy.
